This connection led the American economist Harold Hotelling to declare in 1931 that the market price for non-renewable resources would increase exponentially in the long-term, and that this increase would encompass the rising value of capital investments in these resources.
A third theory of retail location, advanced by Hotelling (1929), is the principle of minimum differentiation.
While true hotelling has met with some resistance, 'trading positions' may feature a combined workspace, storage and an informal quarter-table meeting area that supports the corporate culture's interactive approach to projects.
