House of Representatives 

the name of the lower house of the legislatures of Belgium, Colombia (in these countries it is called the Chamber of Representatives and Chamber of Deputies, respectively), the USA, Japan, Australia, Jamaica, Paraguay, and some other countries; in New Zealand it is the name of the unicameral legislature. The first House of Representatives was formed in the USA according to the provisions of the Constitution of 1787.
