Howard Plan

Howard Plan

a system of organization of teaching and educational work based on the principle of individualized instruction. The system was first used in 1920 at the Howard School for Girls in London, from which it got its name. The plan has not been widely accepted because of the extreme individualization of instruction and high tuition fees.
