Hudson, Manley Ottmer (1886–1960) lawyer, educator, judge; born in St. Peters, Mo. He graduated from William Jewell College (1906) and Harvard Law School (1910), then taught law at the University of Missouri (1910–19). In 1919 he joined the Harvard Law School faculty and took part in the Versailles Peace Conference as an adviser on international law to the U.S. delegation. Active in League of Nations affairs in the 1920s, he joined the World Court in 1936–46 and, from 1948–53, served as chairman of the United Nations' International Law Commission.
