Huggins, Miller (James) (1879–1929) baseball player/manager; born in Cincinnati, Ohio. As a second baseman, he played with the Cincinnati Reds and St. Louis Cardinals (1904–16). As manager of the New York Yankees from 1918 to 1929, he led Babe Ruth and the famous "murderer's row" clubs to six league pennants and three world championships in 12 years.
