Hui Shih

Also found in: Wikipedia 0.02 sec.
Hui Shih (hwē shûr), c.380–c.300 B.C., Chinese logician, remembered for his paradoxes. Little is known about his life, except that he was a provincial prime minister, or about the thinking that led to his paradoxes, which range over physical, mathematical, and logical concepts. Of his voluminous writings, only ten paradoxes and some other fragments have survived.
