Location: Kauai's north shore. Special Features: Refuge protects the largest population of Koloa (Hawaiian ducks) found on Kauai, which may be viewed from the Menehune Fish Pond overlook along Hulemalu Road out of Nawiliwili. Habitats: 241 acres located in a relatively flat valley bordered by steep wooded hillside. Access: Not open to the public.
