Parallel Sysplex
IBM's System/390 clustering architecture. It allows multiple System/390 computers to work together as a single system. It supports data sharing with guaranteed integrity, extensive resource sharing and sophisticated workload balancing. A Parallel Sysplex cluster uses one or more Coupling Facilities to connect machines together. See Sysplex and Coupling Facility.
