The controller is a PC-based design that is programmed either using standard languages such as Visual C++ or like a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) using the IEC 1131-3 standard.
Founded in 1994 by Dieter Hess and Manfred Werner, 3S - Smart Software Solutions developed and launched CoDeSys (Controller Development System), a leading IEC 1131-3 programming tool for industrial controllers.
InControl supports definition and control solutions in a variety of internationally standardized languages such as RLL (relay ladder logic), SFC (sequential function chart) and ST (structured text) as defined by the IEC 1131-3 Standard.
