IGES
(Initial Graphics Exchange Specification) An ANSI file format that is system independent and also intended for human interpretation. Evolving out of the U.S. Air Force's Integrated Computer Automated Manufacturing (ICAM) program in 1979, IGES was designed as a neutral format for the exchange of CAD models. IGES has been superseded by STEP. See STEP and PDES.

The CAD editor can draw and arrange graphic objects, while the integrated converter imports DXF/DWG, HPGL, and IGES data formats, and BMP, TIE JPG, and PCX pixel formats.
0 allows users to convert IGES and 3D CAD solid models to the STL file format, locate errors within the STL model, fix the errors with editing tools and export a high quality analysis model for use with MPA or MPI.
