Iakushev, Aleksandr Sergeevich
Born Jan. 2, 1947, in the city of Balashikha, Moscow Oblast. Soviet ice hockey player and teacher. Honored Master of Sport (1970). Member of the CPSU since 1974. Between 1967 and 1976, Iakushev was USSR champion in ice hockey three times as a member of the Moscow Spartak team, European and world champion six times, and Olympic champion in 1972 and 1976.
