Iamarovka

a climatobalneological health resort in Chita Oblast, RSFSR. Iamarovka is located at the foot of the Malkhanskii Range, 390 km southwest of Chita and 285 km from the Petrovskii Zavod railroad station. Its elevation is 980 m. Summers are moderately warm, with an average July temperature of 15°C, and winters are cold, with an average January temperature of about –24°C. Annual precipitation is 340 mm.

Therapeutic remedies offered at Iamarovka include water for drinking and bathing from carbonic-acid and ferruginous hydrocarbonate calcium-magnesium mineral springs; climatic therapy is also available. Diseases of the digestive system, respiratory diseases other than tuberculosis, and functional disorders of the nervous system are treated at Iamarovka. The resort has a sanatorium.
