an urban-type settlement and the administrative center of Iardymly Raion, Azerbaijan SSR. lardymly is situated on the Viliashchai River, which empties into the Caspian Sea, 72 km southwest of the Masally railroad station on the Baku-Astara line. A rug factory is located in the settlement.
