Reports of an Iberian chiffchaff in the Birch Green area of Skelmersdale have drawn a steady stream of admirers to a copse beside Ferndale, where the warbler has been singing since Tuesday.
The unwary need only be reminded of the ill-fated Skelmersdale Iberian chiffchaff which got many hopes up, until it was proved to be as Iberian as I am.
