Location: 5 miles west of Cavalier on Highway 5, near the US-Canadian border.
Facilities: 159 campsites with electrical hookups and modern camfort stations, showers, 3 sleeping cabins (seasonal), picnic areas, picnic shelter, playground, hiking trails, cross-country ski trails, swimming beach, boat ramp, fish dock, historic buildings, visitor center.
Activities: Camping, boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, cross-country skiing.
Special Features: Located on the north shore of Lake Renwick, the park offers not only recreational opportunities, but also a glimpse into North Dakota's heritage at the Pioneer Heritage Center. The Gunlogson State Nature Preserve (see separate entry), also located at the park, is a sanctuary for plants, birds, and wildlife.
