Ichinomiya

Ichinomiya (ēchĭnō`mēyä), city (1990 pop. 262,434), Aichi prefecture, central Honshu, Japan. It is an industrial satellite of Nagoya and has a large cotton and woollen textile industry.
Ichinomiya 

a city in Japan, in the southern part of Honshu, in Aichi Prefecture. Part of the Nagoya conurbation. Popula-tion, 219, 000 (1970). It is a center of the textile industry and hasgarment factories and dyeing enterprises. Rubber goods are alsoproduced.

15 Kyodo A 10-year-old elementary school girl in Ichinomiya, Aichi Prefecture, has been missing since Monday after going out to play with a friend, police said Thursday.
NAGOYA, June 19 Kyodo Two persons were slightly injured and about 60 homes and buildings were partially damaged after a twister hit Ichinomiya, Aichi Prefecture, on Tuesday afternoon.
