SiteMinder
The user authentication and authorization component of an access management suite from Netegrity (www.netegrity.com), a division of Computer Associates. SiteMinder provides policy-based authentication as well as single sign-on for all Web-based applications. SiteMinder is used in conjunction with IdentityMinder, which manages detailed user profiles, and TransactionMinder, which provides access to Web services.

Sales of its SiteMinder, IdentityMinder and TransactionMinder products, have set Netegrity on an annual revenue run-rate of more than $100 million for 2004, allowing the company to justifiably lay claim to be the largest in its segment.
This release of Netegrity IdentityMinder technology integrates user administration and resource provisioaing for Web and enterprise applications to enable organisations to manage identities across the enterprise.
IdentityMinder is based on Netegrity's SiteMinder software so that it can provide authentication and authorisation management and identity administration.
