Idritsa

an urban-type settlement in Sebezh Raion, Pskov Oblast, RSFSR. Idritsa is situated on the Idritsa River, a tributary of the Velikaia River. It has a railroad station on the Moscow-Riga line, 113 km west of the city of Velikie Luki. Idritsa is the site of a wood-products combine, a flax-processing plant, a brickyard, and a cheese-processing plant. There is a combined sovkhoz and technicum to train veterinarians and livestock specialists.
