Iglesias, Miguel (mēgĕl` ēglā`syäs), 1822–1901, president of Peru (1881–85). Many Peruvians refused to acknowledge him as president, and a revolution led by Cáceres Cáceres, Andrés Avelino , 1836?–1923, president of Peru (1886–90, 1894).
