Ilidža
a balneological health resort in Yugoslavia, in the Socialist Republic of Bosnia and Hercegovina, on the Bosna River. It is a suburb of Sarajevo and is at an elevation of 500 m. The climate is mild and moderately humid. The average temperature during the winter months is— 3.5°C; during the summer months, 19.9°C. Annual precipitation is 680 mm. The medical treatment used at Ilidza is thermal mineral water from springs with the chemical composition
which is used for bathing and drinking. Treatment is provided for patients with diseases of the organs of movement and the peripheral nervous system, gynecological diseases, skin diseases, and diseases of the upper respiratory tract.
