Inazawa (ēnä`zäwä), city (1990 pop. 96,274), Aichi prefecture, central Honshu, Japan. It is a residential and industrial suburb of Nagoya and a textile production center.

Shinjiro Sasaki, Masato Inazawa and Shinya Yoshinaga triumphed for the first time at 60 kg, 73 kg and 81 kg, respectively.
Ueda, who was a bar employee in Inazawa, Aichi Prefecture, beat a 26-year-old former colleague to death with a baseball bat in February 1993 and stole some 4,000 yen to give money to a Filipino girlfriend, the ruling said.
The top court said it has no choice but to back the death sentence handed down by the district and high courts to Masaru Ueda, a former bar employee from Inazawa in the central Japan prefecture.
