Fuel-Injection Pump Of the many types of fuel-injection pumps manufactured commercially, such as the single-cylinder pump, the inline pump, and the distributor pump, the rotary-distribution, fuel-injection pump is the most sensitive to the lubricating quality of the fuel.
Compared with conventional, separately driven rubber gear pumps, at comparable output capacity, the gear spindles of the inline pump can be manufactured at lower cost, and therefore can be offered at a lower, more attractive price.
