I was debating whether to pitch the tent but a few years back I worked with an Innuit hunter who taught me to navigate using snow drift and wind direction.
Back in London, a little girl - one of the perfect blonds - has an asthma attack, and an Innuit lady, protesting against oil exploration, sets herself on fire (after pouring petrol over her head: maybe there's an irony there).
Among his favourite memories were meeting the Innuit in Canada's Hudson Bay: "Those are the guys that hunt the Beluga white whales.
