Interest Group in Pure and Applied Logics - (IGPL) A body of 700 researchers in various aspects of logic (symbolic, mathematical, computational, philosophical, etc.) from all over the world. The group's main rĂ´le is as a research and information clearing house. The group also: supports exchange of information about research problems, references and common interest among group members; helps to obtain photocopies of papers; supplies review copies of books through the Journals on which some members are editors; organises exchange visits and workshops; advises on papers for publication; edits and distributes a Newsletter and an electronic Bulletin; keeps an FTP archive of papers, abstracts; obtains reductions on group purchases of logic books from publishers.
