Special Features: Officially dedicated in 1882, Iolani Palace was the royal palace of the Hawaiian monarchy and served as the setting for monarchs and their courts on formal occasions. The park is a National Historic Landmark. Palace grounds are popular for informal picnics and weekly band concerts.
