Location:In Ionia County, 3 miles north of I-96 Exit 64 (Jordan Lake Road).
Facilities:100 modern campsites (é), 49 equestrian campsites, mini-cabins, organization campground, picnic areas and shelters, playground, hiking trails (3.5 miles), mountain bike trails (9 miles), equestrian trails (15 miles), beach house (é), rustic boat launch, hard-surface boat launch, dog field-trial area.
Activities:Camping, fishing, swimming, canoeing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, hunting, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, bird watching, interpretive programs.
Special Features:Area includes rolling hills, open meadows, forested ridges, a deep lake, and a four-mile stretch of the Grand River. Birding is excellent, with more than 400 species identified by the Audubon Society.
