Itzehoe

Itzehoe (ĭt`səhō), city (1994 pop. 34,080), Schleswig-Holstein, N central Germany, on the Stör River. It is a commercial center; manufactures include cement and machinery. Itzehoe was founded c.810 by Charlemagne and is one of the oldest cities in Schleswig-Holstein. It passed to Prussia in 1866.

Jena and Itzehoe, Germany 11/6/07 -- Analytik Jena AG has announced that it acquired a 70% share in eBiochip Systems GmbH for an undisclosed amount in October.
The 47-year-old man from Itzehoe faced a pounds 55 fine or 10 days in prison if he didn't pay up.
6 million, the company's facilities include a Class 1, six-inch wafer fab dedicated to the manufacture of power products in Santa Clara, and an affiliated Class 1, six-inch wafer fab located in Itzehoe, Germany.
