a climatic koumiss therapy health resort in the Bashkir ASSR, 25 km from Ufa and 4.5 km from the Iumatovo railroad station. Summers are warm, with an average July temperature of 24°C, and winters are cold, with an average January temperature of –19°C; precipitation totals 450 mm annually. Disorders of the nervous system and the circulatory and digestive organs are treated. The resort has a sanatorium.
