Jászberény (yäs`bĕrānyə), town (1991 est. pop. 29,221), central Hungary, on the Zagyva River, a tributary of the Tisza. Attila the Hun was reputedly buried at Jászberény.
Jászberény a city in Hungary, in the megye (county) of Szolnok, on the Zagyva River, (a tributary of the Tisza). Population, 31,000 (1977).
