Jablonec 

(Jablonec nad Nisou), a city in Czechoslovakia, in the Czech Socialist Republic; located in North Bohemia. Population, 38,200 (1976). The city has a railroad station. Jablonec, for years the center of a glass-manufacturing region, produces ornamental and industrial glassware. The city also produces automotive equipment, cotton fabric, and plastic articles.
