Jack London State Historic Park Location: 2400 London Ranch Road in Glen Ellen (about 20 minutes north of Sonoma). Facilities: Historic home, museum, exhibits, picnic areas, horse rentals (seasonal), multi-use trails, self-guiding history trail (é). Activities: Hiking, horseback riding, bicycling, group tours. Special Features: Author Jack London made the Valley of the Moon his home in 1905. From his cottage, he wrote numerous short stories, novels, and articles while overseeing ambitious agricultural enterprises. Park includes the cottage, ranch, and gravesite of Jack London, and the ruins of London's dream house, Wolf House.
