Location:At the foot of blue Mountain, off PA 33, near Nazareth.
Facilities:Picnic area, hiking trails (18.5 miles), bridle trails, historical center.
Activities:Fishing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, hunting, nature and historical programs.
Special Features:Located at the foot of the Blue Mountain, the Environmental Education Center offers environmental education programs for school students and workshops and training sessions for educators. The center also supports ecological, archeological, and historical research. The Jacobsburg National Historic District lies almost entirely within the center's boundaries. The history of Jacobsburg centers on the Henry family and their small arms industry, an industry that played a key role in the Industrial Revolution.

From the initial scoping, the project team recognized that the replacement would be accompanied by a number of environmental impacts due to its location adjacent to the Jacobsburg State Park and Environmental Education Center and within the Jacobsburg National Historic District, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
