For example, Jaques-Dalcroze, a European music educator born in 1865, developed exercises for the improvement of musical rhythm.
The high point of the 400th anniversary celebrations, as every year, is the traditional Escalade parade through the Old Town on Sunday, December 15, beginning at boulevard Jaques-Dalcroze at 17:00 and finishing in front of the Cathedrale St-Pierre with the lighting of a giant bonfire and the singing of the traditional Escalade anthem, Ce qu'e laino.
