Jennings Environmental Education Center Location: 12 miles north of Butler on PA 528, in the central western part of the state. Facilities: Hiking trails (5 miles). Activities: Hiking, nature programs. Special Features: A unique attraction at the Center is its prairie ecosystem, rare in Pennsylvania, with the well-known prairie flower, the blazing star. Visitors in late July to early August can see the prairie in full bloom.
