Location:12 miles north of Butler on PA 528, in the central western part of the state.
Facilities:Hiking trails (5 miles).
Activities:Hiking, nature programs.
Special Features:A unique attraction at the Center is its prairie ecosystem, rare in Pennsylvania, with the well-known prairie flower, the blazing star. Visitors in late July to early August can see the prairie in full bloom.
