Jhang Maghiana 

a city in Pakistan, in the province of Punjab, near the Chenab River. Population, 118,000 (1969).

Jhang Maghiana is a transportation junction, known also for the production of clothing, pottery, and leather and metal goods. The major industries of the city include leather, food, and soap manufacturing. Weaving handicrafts is also well developed.

JHANG, November 13, 2009 (Balochistan Times): A sufficient quantity of sugar is available in all parts of the district which is being sold at the rate of Rs 40 per kilogram.
It is also bounded by the district of Hafizabad in the North, the district of Sheikhupura East, the district of Jhang in the West, as well as the Ravi River in the South.
According to the spokesman, the court has awarded punishment of life imprisonment and confiscating the property of a accused Asad allegedly involved in a case abduction for ransom registered with the PS Jhang Bazar and accused Shahid Gill, Nadeem and Arshid Masih were also awarded the punishment of life imprisonment in a case of similar nature of PS Rail Bazar.
