Jinsha River

 , or Kinsha River , or Chin-sha River

River, China. The westernmost major headwater stream of the Yangtze River (Chang Jiang), it rises in western Qinghai province south of the Kunlun Mountains. and flows south to form the western border of Sichuan province for some 250 mi (400 km). It then flows into Yunnan province, and swings northeast to join the Min River at Yibin and form the Yangtze.
