Delphinus [del′fē·nəs]
(astronomy) A northern constellation, right ascension 21 hours, declination 10° north. Also known as Dolphin. (vertebrate zoology) A genus of cetacean mammals, including the dolphin. Delphinus (“the dolphin”), a constellation of the northern sky. Its three brightest stars have apparent stellar magnitudes of 3.7, 3.8, and 4.
