Special Features: The park is divided by the Tennessee River, with its main facilities on the shores of Wheeler Lake on the Tennessee River. The park's group lodge is located within a cove off of Elk River, about 10 miles from the main park area. The cabins are located on the south side of the Tennessee River, near Wheeler Dam, with access to both Wheeler Lake and Wilson Lake.
