Clarkson, John

Clarkson, John (Gibson) (1861–1909) baseball player; born in Cambridge, Mass. During his Hall of Fame career as a (right-handed) pitcher (1882–94), mostly for the Chicago White Stockings and Boston Red Stockings, he led the league in games won three times, winning as many as 53 games in 1885.
