John Little State Reserve Location: Monterey County, between State Highway 1 and the Pacific Ocean. Facilities: Undeveloped. Special Features: Situated on a scenic point of land, the site preserves and protects a section of steep, rugged cliffs on the Big Sur coast where Lime Creek enters the Pacific Ocean. The reserve contains the original 1917 cabin of early conservationist Elizabeth K. Livermore.
