Rhodes, John (Jacob)
(1916– ) U.S. representative; born in Council Grove, Mo. A World War II veteran, he was judge advocate of the Arizona National Guard (1947–52) before going to Congress (Rep., 1953–83) where he was minority leader for eight years.
