Jones, Leonard

Jones, Leonard (Augustus) (1832–1909) legal scholar; born in Templeton, Mass. A prolific writer, his many works remain standard texts of law and are respected for their clarity and continued pertinence. He practiced law privately and served as a judge on the Massachusetts Land Court (1898–1909).
