Jorgenson, Dale W. (1933– ) economist; born in Bozeman, Mont. Originator of a neoclassical theory of investment and the neoclassical theory of development of a dual economy, he taught at the University of California: Berkeley (1959–69) before accepting a professorship at Harvard in 1969.
