Formerly Application Development Workbench (ADW) it is an integrated CASE-based application development system that runs under OS/2 originally from Sterling Software. It includes a variety of tools for designing and developing client/server, AS/400 and IBM mainframe applications. KEY:Enterprise was renamed COOL:Enterprise and later integrated into the Advantage Developer Series from Computer Associates, which acquired Sterling in 2000. See COOL.
