Kaby Lake

The seventh microarchitecture in Intel's Core family of CPU chips. Introduced in 2016, Kaby Lake supersedes Skylake but uses the same 14 mm process technology. Kaby Lake offers faster clock speeds with a maximum Turbo rate of 3.6 GHz. Graphics and 4K video performance are also improved. See Intel microarchitectures.
