Kadish, Sanford

Kadish, Sanford (Harold) (1921–  ) law educator; born in New York City. After briefly practicing law in New York City (1948–51), he turned to teaching and writing on criminal law. He taught longest at the University of California: Berkeley (1961–64) where he was dean of the law school (1975–82). He was author of several books, including Blame and Punishment—Essays in the Criminal Law (1987), and of numerous articles.
