Kandil’-Sinap
an early winter Crimean variety of the apple Malus pumila, bred by amateur growers. The apples are large (200–400 g), elongated, and conic. They are light yellow with a carmine-pink bloom. The pulp is snow-white, thick, juicy, and sweet. The fruit can be used in fresh form. It can be stored until January. The tree is tall and has a narrow pyramidal crown. Each tree yields 400–600 kg of fruit. The Kandil’-Sinap grows in the Ukrainian SSR, Moldavian SSR, and Kazakh SSR, as well as in the southern part of the RSFSR and in some republics in Middle Asia.
