Keel Ja Kirjandus 

(Language and Literature), a monthly journal of the Academy of Sciences and the Writers’ Union of the Estonian SSR; published in Estonian in Tallinn since 1958. The journal publishes articles on literary theory and history, the history of literary ties, and the theory of literary translation. It also prints literary criticism, articles on problems of the Estonian language (the culture of speech, historical grammar, dialectology, and onomastics), Finno-Ugric studies, and folklore studies. Circulation, about 3,500 (1973).
