Keflavík 

a city and fishing port in Iceland on Flaxaflói (Flaxa Bay). It is located southwest of Reykjavík, the capital of Iceland. Population, 5,700 (1970). It has fish-processing industry. There is a large airport nearby, serving international transatlantic airlines.
